Sakshat Savita means the manifested/incarnate sun. Whatever the sun illuminates returns back to darkness, whereas whatever the knowledge of ‘Sakshat Savita’ illuminates will never be returned into the darkness of ignorance.

Belonging to the extraordinary and divine lineage of the Swaminarayan sect, the establisher of the holy village of Piplana, the Vachanamrut expert, ‘Brahm Vidya Varidhi’ Param Pujya Pragat Brahm Swaroop Sadguru Jogi Swami Maharaj has developed and ensured the extraordinary progress of the holy village of Piplana through ‘vicharan’ without having cared for his physical health. While carrying out this religious work, divine flow of ‘brahmgnaan’ was kept showering continuously through ‘kathavarta’.

Forty three years ago, on the day of Savant 2032, Vaishakh Sudi 10, i.e. 20/05/1975 the ‘Sakshat Savita’ came into existence. Sakshat Savita is an essence of Vachanamrut, Bhakthchintamani, Nishkulanand Kavay and divine Knowledge Jogi Swami Maharaj.
While Jogi Swami Maharaj would have been seamlessly talking about these religious matters, the uniquely blessed disciple Param Pujya Sadguru Shashtri Shree Balkrushnadasji Swami, would have effortlessly kept writing down what was being said. The scripture was even named by Pujya Jogi Swami himself.

After the publication of the scripture, one copy was presented to the eminent Pandit of Junagadh, Param Pujya Shashtri Krushnavallabhacharyaji Swami, after reading he delightedly kept the scripture on his head as a sign of deep respect.

This scripture has been published in five parts, which contains total 697 ‘kirans’.
